Looks a player too.

Might be a stupid but is it a good thing or a bad thing that Collingwood have Melbourne, Essendon and Carlton in the next month? Not traveling to well. Will this run get them back in to form or will they slip up in one of these? Start of the year they'd be $1.10 in each of them.

The way we're going about footy, could easily lose all three

If they win all 3 then things look rosy. Drop 1 (which I think they will) and it probably doesn't help them much. Drop 2 and the feathers will be flying.

They will probably win all 3 but it's only delaying the inevitable. They are a pretty average side and won't make the 8

I reckon we're in strife. Big strife.
Bucks has about a month and a half to show something.

I wrote a column for this week's Bunyip, which I'll post a bit later on.
However, our season's gone - there's no spirit amongst the boys and a definite lack of direction.
I've supported Bucks and his appointment, but the team is not showing their support for him. The message is not getting through.

Reckon the drugs thing rattled the lads, but the dust has settled there. Need to turn the season around in next three weeks.

I was working it out over the weekend, I've enjoyed a grand total of 15 minutes of Collingwood footy this year.

There was the scintillating final 10 minutes against Richmond and the first five minutes against the Saints - the rest has been diabolical, frustrating or listless.

Elliot's a long way off.
But when he plays, we don't get anywhere near enough from him.
He's a bit like Howe as a Melbourne player.

i reckon buckley will go before cloke, if dees beat pies, then pies face the bombers at anzac day the bombers could be favourites :D

could they just not have the gutz to put a bloke on at least 700,000 a year in the ressies?

35's pretty good. But we want more from him than goals.
He's enigmatic and I sometimes wonder about his defensive pressure.
I also feel he's at a point where he should be playing a midfield role a bit more often.
I love having him in the side, but he can offer more.

Not at all. This kid's a professional footballer, whose career rests on his performance.
Unsure why I wouldn't want to see a professional footballer play to the best of his ability and fulfill the team role required.

yep always room for improvement but IMO your side is less electric almost stale without him (and swan)

do you personally want to see cloke dropped??

Agree we need him and want him on the field - I just want more from him.
I think people like to focus on Cloke far too much. This year was always going to be an important transition for our forward structure, giving Moore increased responsibility, and Cloke is working his way through that. I enjoy him running up the ground and getting more of the footy up there and I hope we continue down this path. So much of the flak Cloke cops is unfair, when the delivery into our forward line has been so ordinary over the past couple of years. However, the flak he does deserve is about his goalkicking - atrocious.
