No mate, I didn't. I've had a look at it for 2018 but will probably have a friends or my brothers 50th over seas so unlikely to be going to Shanghai in 2018. If I don't I WILL be ( Mrs Boon ) in 2019.The Bedge wrote:Approx how much did it cost people last year to make the trip (if anyone on here went)?
Packages through the club start at around $1600 for a 3 night trip, $2100 for 4 nights, $2800 for 5 nights, this includes return airfares ( economy ), transfers, accommodation, breakfast and on the 4 or 5 night trips a tour or two, tickets to the game and single entry Visa into China.
( All based on per person, twin share )

Pretty steep prices.
Travelling independently would cost you far less although getting the game ticket would be potentially a problem?

I think the beauty of it is the ease of the "packages", they take care of everything from flights, accommodation, visas, transfers etc which for less seasoned travelers would seem fairly overwhelming when you're talking about going to China.
You're also going with a group so from the moment you get to the airport you're with like minded people. All Port people, sound inviting mate?

I've managed to find some for $455 via China Southern if you travel Sun/Mon

The one I looked at was $362 return from Sunday 13-May until Monday 21-May 2018.
2hr 25min stop over on the way to Shanghai, 3h 05min stop over on the way home.flights.PNG
