One* loss to a team that's right in it and beating the teams they should.

*The Suns game doesn't count

Adelaide's squad looks good on paper- winners on each line and a very potent front half.

The additions in particular of Neal-Bullen and Cumming have been huge.

Beat a Hogan-less GWS in one of the worst quality games in history

I giggled on the weekend - Jnr Bedge (8) came into the living room, asked who "GWS" were - mum told him "Greater Western Sydney".

His reply "Oh so they're just Sydney but better?"

Contenders - Collingwood, Brisbane, GWS, Geelong

Fighting for two finals spots - Bulldogs, Port, Suns, Saints, Dockers, Sydney

No mans land and stuck - Essendon, Carlton

Top end pick in coming - Richmond, North, Eagles, Melbourne

I still rate Hawthorn up with the leading pack, Wubsy’s Bulldogs are beginning to stake a claim for themselves to join that group too, especially now the Rolls Royce is out of the garage.

I think Collingwood only remain contenders while they have a short injury list, chances of that happening arent great with such an old list
They have 3 they cant afford to lose, Mihocek, McStay and Cameron, any of them get wiped for an extended period, its season over

Bulldogs the hardest to get a read on, even more so now with Darcy out, you suspect Naughton wont be able to carry them on his own, does Bont play above 50% fwd from here on

Brisbane look like a team just waiting for finals and only doing the bare minimum. The team to beat.

Port will make the 8 if Butters stays fit

Darcy Moore out of the Anzac Day game.

How he passed concussion protocols was beyond me, but he's now suffering from vertigo & an inner ear issue.

Would I be cynical to think it's really, really inner ear, like his brain?

You beat Adelaide in Adelaide. They aren't going badly, they just beat the GWS. I would suggest your nowhere near under the radar as you would like.

Geelong beat Adelaide after playing midday in 34 degree heat with 90% humidity on the GC with a 5 day break, Mick Malthouse thinks it’s impossible to win the next week after playing in those conditions. Well, he was talking about Victorian teams after Gather Round, no mention of it ever happening before ;)

Adelaide just scraping through at moment
We were lucky to beat Melbourne at home... we lose to any other team... Melbourne are rubbish
