Same, Sloane is Adelaide's most important player and should be the highest paid player there.

Doubt you will find many crows supporters who would rather keep danger over Sloane, but having said that I would love both to stay.

Just on the whole money issue I don't really hold grudges against players who decide to leave, providing they are upfront about their decision.

Bock, Davis, Vince. All left because they could get more money elsewhere. Good luck to them.

I am still bitter about the way Tippett left though, via text message to the players and under the guise of being homesick.

Gunston one hurts a little too, as that also wasn't about money, though at least he was from the state he moved back to

What are your thoughts on Walkers form this year?

Probably a little down on expectations. First few games were excellent but then a little down.

But then you look at the Coleman and he still is 5th and averaging 3 goals a game. That would get him 66 for the year which is a great tally by anyone's measure.

That tells me he is getting his 2-3 even in his bad games,(like when McDonald towelled him up) which is a good sign for him.

I reckon he isn't far away from a huge one.

Also have loved his leadership this year. Currently showing he was the right man for captain.

Wasn't it Melbourne enquired about Vince, Adelaide said what you offering? They offered, manager gets a packet from Melbourne and guarantee, Adelaide offered less. Bernie took the cash and guarantee.....

I always thought it was Adelaides doing, so they could get back into the draft.

Adelaide said if he doesnt go, they wont offer him another contract.

I also think he was probably on decent coin here, still had trade currency, and allowed us to save up to pay the three out of contract this year.

I think it was a 3 way win.

Adelaide free'd up some coin on a player that had a carefree attitude.
Bernie got away from the influence's that were dragging him down and is producing the footy we all knew he was capable of.
Melbourne have brought out the best in him and could possibly go on to be the best tagger getting around atm.

My impression - admittedly from watching only on TV - is that he does better out at CHF than he does at FF.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

I would agree with that, and I would say that's where he has been playing mostly. Eddie has been our full forward for the past couple of weeks since Jenkins has been out, and it has been working brilliantly.

Any truth to the rumour Sloane's parents have moved back to Melbourne and his g/f has just got a media job over there too?

I bloody hope not.
