Some talk you have offered him 4 years on good money. Bizarre move if you ask me. Just wait until next year and get him for free, that way you can see if his body holds up

Talk of an early trade between STK and Adel tomorrow morning with pick swaps that favour Adel then Adel choose not to match Crouch offer.

So swap our picks 22 and 32 for St Kilda's pick 17 and then take the compo pick 23 for Crouch? Or swap for their first round pick next year?

You won't want to wait until next year for your 1st rounder. You need them now.

Matt Rendell was saying next years draft is going to be a pearler of a draft so extra 1st rounders will be good.

Something like that but I expect it to be for their 2021 1st rd pick. Saints dont want to part with their 2020 1st pick.
Crows might gamble on saints 2021 1st rd pick similar to GWS for this year

Dodoro asked Port for one of Duursma, Butters, Marshall, Georgiades or Wines.

I haven’t seen much of Fantasia(probably coz he’s injured a lot) but can he actually play?
If Port were to get him would he be guaranteed a spot in the starting 18?
Who does he push out?

And surely Port just laughed at Dodoro if he did ask for any of those players.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

I have always rated Marshall highly but his development seems to have stopped. Not sure many Port fans are big on him anymore and think most are expecting Georgiades to take his spot round 1 next year so probably not an outrageous suggestion by Essendon. The others are no chance. Maybe wines with constant talk of coming home but would need to give something along with Orazio. I wouldnt trade Duursma or Butters for anyone on Essendons list

Makes you wonder how much is just media beat up. Dodoro is an easy target and it’s easy just to throw names up as a “journalist”

Dodoro is an idiot and he makes far too many stupid requests that just wastes time. At the end of the day he gets most of the trades done but just with a lot of showmanship that could be avoided. Most Essendon supporters want him gone but the media lap it up and even some of the major player agents love the pantomime.

With Ebert out of the forward / midfield mix I think they'd like to inject Rozee and or Butters into the midfield. Given Gray has one, maybe two more years in him that may see both of Rozee and Butters in the midfield mix, so we're looking for one small forward now and in 12-24 months potentially another. Motlop will also be out of the side in a year or two, so another mid/forward gone.

Having said that Woodcock I think showed enough to suggest he'll make it and Georgiades should make his way into the forward half in the next 12 months.

Me, I'd stick with the offer we have given them and they can take it or leave it.

Am I correct in the understanding that OF can walk for nothing next year?
So effectively we are giving up pick 26 for 1 extra season (of a bloke who averages roughly 10 games a season).

I get that some would say our window is open now, but for mine this still seems massive overs.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!
