Luke Parker and Sauce Jacobs should consider themselves a tad unlucky. Particularly Parker.

Backs: Cale Hooker (Essendon), Daniel Talia (Adelaide) and Nick Smith (Sydney Swans)
Half-backs: Nick Malceski (Sydney Swans), Alex Rance (Richmond), Brodie Smith (Adelaide)
Centres: Nat Fyfe (Fremantle), Josh Kennedy (Sydney Swans), Dyson Heppell (Essendon)
Half-forwards: Robbie Gray (Port Adelaide), Nick Riewoldt (St Kilda), Luke Breust (Hawthorn)
Forwards: Hayden Ballantyne (Fremantle), Lance Franklin (Sydney Swans), Jarryd Roughead (Hawthorn)
Rucks: Aaron Sandilands (Fremantle), Joel Selwood (Geelong), Gary Ablett (Gold Coast)
Interchange: Jordan Lewis (Hawthorn), Scott Pendlebury (Collingwood), Travis Boak (Port Adelaide), Tom Rockliff (Brisbane Lions)

2 omissions that are absolutely dumbfounding.

Alex Rance > Eric McKenzie is debatable also.

Both extremely unlucky.

After doing a little research today- Sauce exceeds Sandi in most statistical categories..

How the heck does Nick Riewoldt get CHF. He didn't even make the top 10 goal kickers.

Hard in a crap team.
Fantastic player, would kick 60-70 for the Hawks or Port.
Would still be one of my first picked

I think Boomer should appeal his non-selection.

Both extremely unlucky.

After doing a little research today- Sauce exceeds Sandi in most statistical categories..

Except hit outs yer? Which is there number one job...

Tough call though, Mumford was clearly best ruck anyway just didn't play enough games

So an extra 7-8 cm guarantees you AA selection each season?

Sandi gets first hand, but surely a good ruckman in the Dean Cox mould has an effect around the ground- Something Jacobs does very well.

Stiff to miss out and I'll stick by that call.

I do agree mate, although I don't think Sauce is as damaging around the ground as Cox though. I picked Sauce in my team too.

Luke Parker surely the hardest done by

Silly me thought this was based on actual performance, not hypothetical performance if your team was better.

Actually their number 1 job is to tap the ball to their team's advantage. Raw hit out stats are largely meaningless, should be based on hit outs to advantage.

Still had a heap more marks than anyone else in the comp. His stats would say he has had a very good season

To still be motivated to keep his exceptional work rate up and still play as good as he has in a team that isn't nearly as good as it has been in years previous says alot about the character of the man. Hard to be a consistent CHF in a struggling side and the Saints slide down the ladder hasn't effected his output.
