I was thinking the exact thing on Friday night.
He's sitting there, with blokes with about 12 premiership medals, loads of B&Fs, club games holders and other decorations and he was a member of, probably, some of the worst Hawthorn teams in half a century. That shouldn't preclude him from commentating, but he should be less smug.

This morning I saw this headline in 'The Age' and was shocked: Sophie Mirabella quits politics and says she'll be a commentator.

Never saw her play. I presume she was tough little back-pocket like Bubbles Obst. Hopefully she gives Channel 7 a call, would give Brian Taylor a run for his money. Still wouldn't bridge the gender gap, though.

JB is a knob because he goes over the top now with his "What ever I says goes" personality on TV. He's gone from being a straight shooter to having the last say on anything and everything and raises his voice and talks over people when he doesn't like their opinion. He still does bring up some very good points at times in my opinion, he bought up what I personally thought was a good point about the Hawks a couple weeks ago.

Now...... I was glad to see a bloke back on TV last night and I actually don't mind him as a commentator because even though he's an arrogant **** he at least is consistent and doesn't go over the top to get his point across and isn't emotional. Robert Walls!
