Melbourne do look very good though.

Careful there Benny, you'll be justifying the Melbourne Media group wankfest over them.

I'm not writing Adelaide off and Melbourne, whilst impressive, haven't won me over just yet. Long way to go in this race, you don't want to be going flat out in May and that sort of looks how Melbourne are going, West Coast a bit the same.

Will be interesting to see how Melbourne / West Coast look compared to Adelaide / Richmond / Sydney in the last week of season proper.

Still overrating the Crows Boon. Everything went right last year and they couldn't get the job done. No show this year mate.

Only coaches would be interested in those stats if you are down the bottom, apart from that it irrelevant

Free kick no’s aren’t nearly as relevant as where you actually get them and when you get them. There’s also other variables which free kick no’s don’t reflect, ie advantage rule payed resulting in goals then a different umpire doesn’t pay it down the other end, costing the other team goals...

It’s amazing when you are first to the pill, and tackle correctly the frees tend to go your way. I’d prefer to see the stats around that.

Taking into account such variables the Roos are getting a nice ride that really looks like +8.7

Umpires impact on the outcome of a game of footy is so over rated
