Wasn't a measure, was just highlighting how good Plugger was AND how good Pavlich is considering he played full back and midfield in his time.

Fair enough. I probably get a bit defensive of Super Pav! One of my favourites. Just goes to show how much times have changed though, we'll never see forwards with anything approaching that average again, most likely. For better or worse?

Happy with the win but sad again with Nic Nat going down. Just starting to look good again and its done.

Hopefully its nothing serious but what really is annoying is that loss to collingwood now. We woukd have still been in the hunt for the top 4. But going to Adelaide will be hard and much harder without Nic Nat but hopefully that week off will help him get up for the finals.

Lose to the Crows and its season over, can't see them winning a final on the road

Kane Cornes said this morning that if Adelaide don't play in the Grand Final that is a failed season. WAD! Nobody at the start of the season would have thought they would be top 4 let alone maybe make a GF

Would have thought missing finals is a failed season.

I actually agree with him from what is presented to us right now. Too many times the Adelaide FC don't make the most of the opportunities that are presented to them. Especially since 2003.

Where they are now though he is right. Will finish top 2 and with a possibility of 2 home finals including a home Prelim it would be classed as a failure from here

Agreed, a top 2 finish and two home finals are in our control now, we dont need to rely on anyone else.

Broadlach, surely expectations can change?

If we dont make a grand final from here it means we will lose one of our 4 games in a row at AO.

Definately, anything less than a flag is a failure

Depends on perspective. I think Sydney have been the best team for a while though, so if we lose to them it will suck but it wont be unexpected. I dont think you could say thats a failure. But not making it from here would be

I dont disagree with you I was just making the intial point that Cornes is probably technically correct but really its down to your own perspective.

Cornes seems hell bent on taking over from his old man as king **** if SA. Honestly hes doing a good job at the moment.

To the point though, Adelaide lots arguably there best player in Dangerfield and look to have improved from last season. It would be disappointing if they dont got deep into september but a failure? Hard to say really.

Nah Kane has along way to go to be even close to Graham. Graham on air is a very ignorant, arrogant and pig headed man. Off the air a really good bloke. He's a shit stirer of the highest order.
