If Brisbane manage to get Dunkley, I would have them 2nd on this ladder and only % behind Geelong.

To get Dunkley and also have enough points for Father/Son selections would be an outstanding result. Gunston is also a plus.

Yep, it's why I don't have them top 4. Get Dunkley they rocket up.

I don’t have us as bottom 2 for this trade period either BTW.
I think we are above the Suns and have set ourselves up ok for the draft.
I think the club knows we are bottom 6 material next year and will address that at the drafts hopefully

I agree. Weidemann and Setterfield coming in is a good result, and having pick 4 is also a bonus.

Only put you there for lack of action. Weidemann < and Francis > isn't worth reporting on, Setterfield will be ok and draft hand hasn't changed. Couldn't have you above WCE, I think they've done pretty well as clubs will be spooked drafting out of state talent a bit and they'll get two WA lads.

Hawks may lose O'Meara TMitchell along with Gunston (traded) McEvoy (retired)

Might keep North from the hatrick

True our draft hand hasn’t changed hugely looking from the outside but getting in Setterfield also got us a pick in the 60’s from Carlton which will be used to effectively get a free bid on one of our F/S picks which could free up a bid on Munkara. There was a possibility we might have needed to trade in some picks to bid on all 3 but we should have it covered now. I agree Weideman for Francis is just swapping 2 so far failed top 10 picks but hopefully the two of them can play some decent footy at their new clubs.
If we can snare the two Davey’s plus Munkara in the draft aswell as a top 5 pick it should hold us in good steed but no doubt if anyone can botch it then it will be us.
Still some more to play out in the AMT situation too but I think it’s wishful thinking he returns to us
I think we will be monitoring the PSD very closely too and see if Collingwood and especially the Dogs are bluffing or not.

Geelong - Bigger theft than the Great Train robbery, Bruhn, Bowes and pick 7 for 18 and future 3rd
Sydney - Nothing much
Collingwood - Frampton 5***** recruiting, Grundy gone and paying him to stay gone and get Bobby Hill in
Brisbane - Gunston in, McStay out, upgrade there. Dunkley not yet done
Melbourne - Grundy in, good get
Fremantle - Unicorn in, good get, Corbett, yeah exactly, who? Logue, Acres and Tucket out
Richmond - Bingo bango - Hopper and Taranto in, huge midfield
Bulldogs - Liam Jones in, Cordy out, net zero

Carlton - Get Acres, not much else
St Kilda - Cordy in. Meh
Port Adelaide - JHF, Rioli in, expect Ratugolea, 2nd place behind Geelong in trade week
Gold Coast - FIRE SALE Berry in, Bowes and 7 go out
Hawthorn - Amon in, meh
Adelaide - Rankine in, Frampton and pick 5 out
Essendon - Hey Essendon, it's trade week! Bit going on at HQ and no mention of Dodordumb for a while. Nice.
GWS - Hopper and Taranto out, pick 1 in, Bedford in, still have a heap of picks
West Coast - Turned pick 2 and Rioli into 8 and 12 and get Hunt from Melbourne to replace Acres
North - Didn't lose much other than JHF, pick 1 and get picks 2,3 and Port's 2023 first along with AFL* Logue and Tucker picks

St Kilda above 'anyone' is a mystery to me.

I also feel as though Amon is a bit more than a "meh".

Not sure that Gunston is an upgrade for the Lions, Mc Stay has a few years in his favour and I'm not sure where Gunston will fit in up there.

I was surprised at how many goals Jack kicked this season, the only game that I had him in a SGM to kick 2 goals he played across half back

Melbourne - maybe, Richmond - probably, Adelaide - no, IMO.

Amon is "meh" for Hawthorn as they're not going to get any better because of his addition.

McStay has never kicked more than 28 goals in a year, Gunston kicked 32 in 16 games playing for Hawthorn this year. He's just turned 30 so has 2-3 years in him.

I agree with Lightning bit harsh on Amon. Yeah Hawthorn are not going to rocket up ladder positions but their not going to be any worse for his addition,

You could make a very strong case Amons output for Port in 2022 will be more than what you get out of either Rioli or JHF in 2023. Understanding their all-different styles of players.
