Geelong effectively get nothing for those 4 players. No doubt, short term they might hurt Geelong but in 3 years time, Geelong will be well in front. They would've had time to blood youngsters and potentially keep their permiership window open. In the short term, I think the clubs taking on those players win beause they pick up valuable experience both on and off the ground.

Hopefully we can cut a deal for Everitt, who I rate.

trade talks have stalled between swans and blues. swans want a 2nd round pick and the blues only offering a 3rd round pick...

So when they don't like how things are going at their new clubs they'll have another cry and leave? Why not put some effort in and make the club you're at a better one to be involved with then.

And please forgive my lack of knowledge - but when is the cut off date for AFL clubs to delist players? 31st Oct?
