Stevie J has missed a heap of games this year. Bit like Kruezer.

I'd be surprised if anyone from Richmond made the side, we've had lots of blokes come in-and-out of the season, but none have had an outstanding 20 weeks so far. Martin definitely shouldn't be there.

Good to see Alex Rance get a mention though, has improved dramatically offensively (he does less) and defensively (he does more) this year and should be the closest Tiger to getting a gig.

So much discussion and everybodys team is different.

Selections below

B- S.Thompson Glass M.Johnson

HB- Goddard. Taylor McVeigh

C- Griffen Ablett Jack

HF- Martin Kennedy Dangerfield

FF- Cameron Roughead Wingard

F- Minson Pendlebury Mitchell
Interchange- Barlow Swan Hannebery Enright

Wouldnt have thought Martin would be in the top 30?
Throw Swan on his flank and bring in Selwood.

The closes tiger to all Australian would be Stevey Morris. 15 goals kicked on him all year. Dominant shut down player!

Martin has been bloody good this year, especially in big games! Just short of AA though

Totally forgot about Morris! Not sure how?! The man is a machine!

My side (with my mistake now edited):

B: Morris (Rich), Thompson (Nth Melb), Gibson (Haw)
HB: Enright (Geel), Taylor (Geel), Hibberd (Ess)
C: Jack (Syd), Selwood (Geel), Griffen (WB)
HF: Dangerfield (Adel), Riewoldt (St K), Fyfe (Frem)
F: Motlop (Geel), Cameron (GWS), Roughead (Haw)

R: Minson (WB), Ablett (c) (GC), Swan (Coll)

Int: Wingard (Pt Adel), Hannebery (Syd), Pendlebury (Coll), Mitchell (Haw)

Unlucky - Cloke, M. Johnson, Boak, Carlisle, Hanley, Montagna

I know Lindsay Thomas has kicked 50+ but Motlop is on 45-odd and has a bigger impact on games IMO. Carlisle was almost in but Harry Taylor is still a better defender/swingman and they didn't need two. Hibberd is underrated and deserved a running back flank ahead of Walker and Malceski. Cameron deserves his spot for the crap he plays with each week, and Cloke doesn't because he can't kick.

He is a good trier and is important to Richmond but seriously..

He averages 10 touches a game and has only had 33 tackles for the entire season. Even Jack Riewoldt has had more tackles.

Just Richmond supporters getting over excited about having a guy that isn't a total front runner.

Bit surprised to see Douglas, Mackie and McKenzie. On a positive note, good to see not many players receiving plaudits based on their performances from past years

Thought Buddy Franklin has had a average season. No players from Richmond nominated seems a bit surprising. Tom Rockliff unlucky also.

Lindsay Thomas
21 goals in first 5 matches
32 goals in the next 18 matches.
I'm unsure if his selection is warranted.

I'm not, it's a terrible selection, stagers like him should be made an example of, not given accolades.

53 goals from a small forward - he's a walk up start.
Going on your theory days, Matthew Lloyd would never have been selected, nor Wanganeen, Cornes or for that matter half the league who all stage for frees week in week out.
The way your mob get looked after I was surprised not to see Schoenmakers' name on the list ;)
