Mike Sheahan has selected his sides of 60's to 00's.

Interesting that he has Dunstall in 80's side, and Lockett in 90's.

Lockett kicked 895 goals during the 90's, Dunstall 777

Difficulty with things like this - who does he replace? He was a gun no doubt, but the team is full of them.

JK, I note Sheahan had Paul Kelly in his 90s team and Buckley in the 2000s. Still leaves us gridlocked on that debate ;)

If you can't fit Goodes in the side you can't fit cousins.

No Adam Goodes in the 00s team

Only won 2 brownlows during that time

Racist?

Na, he's just not that good, 2 brownlows means the umpires like him.
Did he win any MVP's as voted by the players or coaches, genuine question as i dont know the answer

Did more in the 2000's than Crawford, Ricciuto and Lappin IMO.

He was equal winner of AFL Coaches Award in 2006 (with Simon Goodwin) the same year he won his second Brownlow. He would definitely be in my team of the 00's

Im sure he did a lot more lol .. But fair point, those three were all great players too though. Think it just comes down to each individual selecting THEIR team,

If it was picked as if the side was going to play a game Goodes would most definitely be in my side if only for his versatility!!

Out of Sheehan's team, I'd have Riccuito on the field instead of Harvey, I also rate Goodes ahead of Harvey, Johnson and Lappin.
It's hard to find a better specialist Half Back Flanker though than Lappin, apart from the Key Position Forwards you'd think they'd be made up of on-ballers that couldn't get squeezed in.
It's a massive task and there's no right or wrong team, I used to think Sheehan was an absolute flog, he's really grown on me through Open Mike and you can see the respect the football industry has for him.

The 90's team looks pretty awesome, they'd struggle if they copped any injuries to the on-ballers though, their bench looks a bit top heavy.

Is it just me or was Chris Grant over-rated? I thought he was a pretty good player but team of the decade good? I'm not sold.

Yeah it is a tough one, just annoyed me that he left him out for off field reasons when their is plenty of other "interesting" stories through out the teams.

Has he stated that his off-field antics have cost him his place?
