They were 9-0 and lost 11 of their last 14 matches, it wouldn't wash well. They would've been better off not making the 8 to get the softer draw for next season while they re-build.

You see we are one of the few clubs in this comp that don't bottom out for draft picks and soft draws.

It is an away game though so really the Chinese coloured team is the home team, makes sense, they should even do better than Port out of it

I thought 2016 saw him play his best footy at AFL level. He's always been that in between, not tall enough for his pace or not fast enough for his height.

101 AFL games in 10 seasons and from the Tweets I've seen a highly respected bloke among his peers at the club.

Bottom 4

Maybe take the Red,blue and Yellow glasses off and have another look.

I can see Melbourne Collingwood Essendon freo all jumping above the power.

That puts you 1 spot from the bottom 4.

North might drop down that far though, but 12-15 still seems about right to me

Melbourne are still Melbourne, fickle above the shoulders and they'll need another couple of solid years to shake that. Collingwood are vastly over rated and Buckley isn't much chop and Fremantle are hoping Sandilands and Fyfe change their whole sides fortunes.

No way I can see bottom 4 for Port. As things stand I think they have a couple of question marks over their back half and depth, but onball and forward I think their more than fine. Think the odds are good on the likes of Boak, Wingard and Hartlett having improved seasons. Ryder, whilst I'm not a huge fan, should offer them a bit. Think they can challenge for the 8, just depends on health and probably a decent start to the season. Either way can't see them dropping as low as suggested.

Thank you, IMO Mitch Clark has made an absolute mockery of the system and should never have been allowed to go to the Cattery.

Quite the contrary, I believe the Cats should be commended for giving him another opportunity at the highest level. It's a shame his demons have taken control of his life to the extent it has changed his career path. No different for people out of the limelight of the media either. I hope he one day gets the upper hand, I'm not sure he'll ever "win", just being in front would be great for him and people close to him.
