Hopefully nothing too serious, have always enjoyed his analysis and thoughts on the game on 360, although expect I'm in the minority.

Having been through the same experience as Robbo (at a younger age) hearing him discussing his situation and the what if's that come with it on the first 360 last year 2 days after Warney's death was the first time I had been able to make sense of my situation after 7 years.

Gerard mention Robbo wasn't feeling too well the first night he wasn't on.

Andy Maher on SEN this arvo mentioned he’d been unwell but was “getting better”.

Im in the pro-Robbo camp too mate, what (nature of) health issues has he been facing?

Talking Footy was a bit heated Monday night, Caro obviously has an axe to grind with Hutchy, maybe it's just because he's so smug I dunno, their spat didnt really need to be one so you get the feeling Caro has resentment over more than just the topic that was being discussed.

Speaking of Hutchy, his call that AFL clubs should be able to raid state leagues anytime they choose for the duration of the season is a scary thought for any followers of said leagues.

I was a bit surprised (perhaps I shouldn't have been) when Robbo smashed some straight gin live on the show about a month ago, I would have thought with the scare he had last year that he would have maybe eased down on the grog a bit.

Robbo had serious heart issues.

I listened to the pod of Footy Classified. The spat between Caro and Hutchy wasn't necessary. But it was Hutchy deliberately being the opposite to rile her up I guess. I mean Hutchy would love the disagreement between Kingy and Cornes. Increase ratings

As for his drafting players in at anytime is just plain ridiculous. It's a US mindset.
Next he will say let's allocate certain clubs in every state league as a farm system to AFL clubs.
He's in the entertainment mindset, given Entertainment is the E in SEN.
He doesn't appreciate the art of squad management.

My thoughts were the same when I saw him do it.
I thought maybe he's on a zero drinking policy from Fox?
I'm sure he's been pissed on air before so maybe got suspended for breaking it?

Agreed, was quite bizarre.

Plus, anyone who drinks knows gin straight is shit, even the good stuff.

It wasn't Gin, it was water. Was mentioned at the end of the show.

What is stupid is having an alcoholic promote your product.

Only reason they could have let him pretend to have gin is to continue to enhance his 'character' as the bloke at the front bar of the pub who you chat footy with.

Thats clearer the role he has played in the media especially given his not an ex player (is he).

On the other hand Gerard Wheatley is the football nuffie/nerd........ the non-controversial one, fence sitter.

Some of you blokes seriously need to get a life.
Robbo’s apparently got pneumonia & will be back next week.
