As a fellow poster who likes to post when they are on the turps, well done Booney.

So the following questions:
1. Where is the review?
2. What was the crowd like?
3. How many games for Lycett?
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Despite having gone to high school in the Port area as a Norwood supporter - and suffered the consequences. ( I still get ribbed by old schoolmates.) I support Port's right to wear their traditional jumper in the Melbourne run "AFL" so long as that nominally "national" league exists. Why bow to Collingwood!

However, the solution was for SA to have never joined the Victorian league in the first place and thus legitimised its claim to be a national body...

I support Port against all Victorian teams, especially the over-precious Collingwood. The Crows were formed as an alternative representative SA team rather than let Port claim that space for itself, and I favour the Crows for that reason. However, my focus is the (gradually dying) SANFL and Norwood.

I would have welcomed a genuine national league not ruled by Melbourne.

I support any team to wear whatever they want at home games and also for every club to have 2 distinct alternate jumpers so there's never a clash.
It's ridiculous in this day and age that they can't and a huge commercial opportunity being missed.

Any chance of that happening was taken away by Port Adelaide back dooring the SANFL in 1990 and forcing an Adelaide team into the comp hastily. The VFL needed SA more than what we needed them, had there been more time conditions wouldve been alot more favourable to the non Victorian teams.
Kind of ironic that Port are now paying for this :D

Has anyone else seen the hate messages that Scott Lycett has got from random Instagram accounts in reaction to his dangerous tackle on Ned McHenry? He has reposted them on his Instagram story to show what people have written to him. Whilst what Lycett did to McHenry was bad and he should be suspended for it he doesn't deserve the absolutely disgusting messages he received from those lowlifes.
