Yep, couple of years of pain coming their way
On the other hand some good drafting over the next year or two can turn things around
At least they know they will get a run pretty soon.

Maybe under Rutten they might. Worsfold kept playing the old duds rather than kids so hopefully the philosophy has changed

Good luck to Caleb Poulter and Lachie Jones tonight. Both fantastic young YP lads.

Chatter about that Collingwood are looking to improve their draft position by offering their first 2 picks (14 & 16) for 1 of Essendon's top 10 picks (6,7 or 8 ).

Might be a nudge, nudge, wink option not to bid on McInness involved

Is it true that the #1 pick in the draft gets a $30k cash bonus? If this is the case why would the Crows pick Ugle-Hagan and allow a Bulldogs player to pick up the cash. If they did this, whoever they pick up at #2 will be filthy.

An Archie Perkins (potential draft pick) states that he has told/asked non Victorian clubs not to draft him.

Was it Brett Chalmers who did the same and was fined for draft tampering?

Then followed by his manager daring interstate clubs to call there bluff earlier in the day.

Then later in the day, a bit of back tracking from his manager saying he knows he could go anywhere.

Reckon someone may have got a call from AFL house?

Well learn to live with it because Archie Perkins antics today have probably cemented the Northern Academys for the next 5 years at least.

The Pedlar pick by the Crows is bizarre, not expected to go till at least the 40’s, why would they not use their picks 22 and 23 on him, he surely would have still been there, and could have picked up another potential star with that pick? Very strange decision!

Makes sense then, Giants got pick now just ahead of Crows, maybe would have picked him up then.
