Danger game tonight. Bit nervous about it.

Probably end up with egg on my face, but I don't see the Swans having any trouble tonight.

Whoomp, there it is!!!

Essendon knocked them off last year in Sydney, and then only went down by 5 points up there the previous year in controversial circumstances when Rampe brainfarted.

I'm half tempted to throw a little SGM on involving Essendon or an all-up with North, Hawthorn, Gold Coast or Melbourne.

I'm predicting a shit round for tipsters, the more I look at the games the harder they seem.

Either way Im hoping it's close, hate a Thurs or Fri night blowout, but think both sides are markedly different to those of recent seasons. Easy to forget though the Bombers have plenty of established talent - Hooker, Tippa, Stringer, Smith, Merrett, Heppell, Ridley, Parish, McGrath etc and some reasonable kids that will take a bit of time.

Sydney v Essendon - Academy Rorts v Drug Cheats

Friday :
Port Adelaide v Richmond - I don't think the Tigers will lose 2 in a row

Saturday :
Western Bulldogs v Brisbane Lions - Dogs too quick
St Kilda v West Coast - Saint Kilda are a bunch of pretenders
Gold Coast v Carlton - Only because GC are missing half a team
Collingwood v GWS - Leon Cameron can't drive the former Ferrari now a Hyundai

Sunday :
North Melbourne v Adelaide - Going for the upset of the century
Melbourne v Geelong - Are Melbourne frauds...maybe...maybe not
Fremantle v Hawthorn - Don't know and I don't really care
Dave Warner will be missed!

Not much love for Brisbane .. Fairly plucky the last two weeks running both games out strongly. Teams coming off a thumping win not always the best prep, and they look somewhat galvanised from their extended Vic stay (as much as you can tell from the outside). Be interesting to see whether Andrews goes to Bruce or Naughton, can't see JB shooting the lights out 2 weeks in a row.
