So what did everything think?

IMHO, and I've been critical of them in the past .. From my experience (and 3 mates) the day couldn't have been any better put together.

$120 for the Tapestry Pavillion for 5 hours Boags + Heiny's, beautiful food and plenty of it, excellent viewing, easy to access tote, and some decent sorts.

Well done SAJC, a thoroughly memorable day!!

well having seen and experienced and a few disasters from the SAJC, i did expect there to be issues. But i didnt really notice anything that the SAJC did that was a negative.

THe merchandise tent was the only negative i noticed, but that was out of control of the SAJC. They sold out very quickly of the shirts and ties and as the day developed the rest all sold out.

SHE is the fastest horse in the world, and now Black Caviar - or at least her driver - has gone so fast it warranted a speeding ticket

But before she even got to the track, Black Caviar was working up some good speed, when her driver and horse box were pulled over by the South Australian police.

Spotted doing around 70km/h in a 60 km/h zone near Borderville, a ticket was issued to the wonder horse's driver

Wasn't it Victorian Police that booked them?
