They're in diabolical with land deal.

Plus a number of participants are taking them on. Fines under a certain amount can't be appealed. Of which under appeal would be overturned.

Gawler Cup on Sunday 7/3/2021

On course at last years Cup there was a discussion between legendary punter Jackpot Jim and his mate Mal
The Gawler Cup was a standing start race in 2020
JJ had predicted pre- race that up to half the field would be out of business by the first turn
Prophetic words indeed
Several horses galloped or whatever and were out of business early in that race won by Grey Maverick, brilliantly driven in front by Brodie Webster

This years Gawler Cup is a mobile
I think the club has probably made a right decision

Its an excellent day at Gawler last year at the new complex
Looking forward to attending Sunday

Gambling enthusiasts , have the option to go the Gawler dogs after the trots have finished

Last years Cup and this years both had one thing in common, the race was all over a long way from home with the leader winning both and never looked like losing.
Difference was last years winner was a roughie (25/1) compared to this years short priced fave ($1.80)

Last years Stand Start provided a race of intrigue with a heap of winning chances.
This years Mobile start saw the betting dominated by 2 horses

That may just have been a coincidence ? Who knows?

Generally i'd favour betting on mobile starts every day of the week but the occasional Stand Start still has some appeal

Can anyone tell me when the SA Cup is gonna be?
They still have one ?

I believe it wasn't the state of the track, rather the forecast of weather during the meeting.
Trials are on this morning
