Anyone else played the online casino's on offer? They're bloody addictive with decent payouts - problem is being available on smart phones, tablets, PC are we just encouraging a whole new and more dangerous generation of gambling addicts?

I've played Jackpot Casino - mate of mine got me onto it.

They offer good deposit bonus such as 150% free with deposits up to 500 etc.

My mate who got me onto it has won 10k, 50k, 10k, and another 5k early in the week..

I'm not so lucky, but have won around 3-5k a few times.

Good variations and range of slot machines, and have table games - blackjack, roulette, 3 card poker which is fun.

If you can be disciplined and bet low or restrict how much you pump in, it's not bad.. but easy to get hooked when you start winning lol.

Bets on slots can range from 0.20c on some machines to as much as $125-$250 per spin - you set your coin size and coin per line bet.

Used to play them 5 -6 years back when the bonuses they offered could be exploited. Have to be very careful though, easy to blow $$$

Do you have to turnover funds before cashing out, like you would say if you collected on a free bet with Sportsbet, Ladbrokes etc?

Yep, you have to read the fine print to find it, but it's something like the deposit you made turned over 10x before you can cash out if you receive a bonus e.g. if you deposit $100 and get a 50% bonus then it's like $1500.. on top of that you get a % depending on what you play, so if you play slots, 100% of what you bet/play goes towards that total where as the tables which is easier to win on only like 2%.

You can still withdraw money before that amount has been reached, but you forfeit your bonus component (does that make sense?).

Actually doesnt take long to turn those funds over, especially on slots.

In the early days the terms and conditions of the bonuses were to generous. If you deposited $100 they would credit you with $200 to play with and you had to turnover the bonus say 10 times (so $1,000 turnover) and then they let you withdraw.

They also let you play blackjack which returns at a 97-98% average return rate if you flat bet, So with $1,000 turnover you might lose $30 from your $200 so balance is $170 and you could withdraw it, $70 profit. Some people would bet 1000 $1 bets to reduce the variance. You have to be very patient and disciplined but you do this over 10 online casinos and its easy $.

They have now changed the turnover rules up to 40x and reduced many of the low % games that you can use the bonus on.

I used to bonus whore the online casinos back 7-8 years back when it was very lucrative, even then getting paid a few hundred $ was tough to get out of them via e-wallets etc.....as it is unregulated in Australia I suspect nothing would have changed.
