1980's Cartoon Logo's

Anyone else remember the little stickers you would put over the winning team on a big poster that had the full schedule on it. The top half of the poster had a picture containing one player from each team kneeling on one knee. The one I recall from 1980 had Lindsay Heaven, Colin Casey, Rodney Robran, Bucky Cunningham, Ray Hayes, Dean Mobbs, Geoff Baynes ... not sure on the others. Was it all the team's captains? Anyone still got those posters? How long did the produce them for?

Yeah I had one from the Bank of Adelaide I think it was, I remember the 1978 one because I ran out of Sturt stickers and they still didn't win the flag!

Yeah in 1980 it was Magpie stickers everywhere and the poor old Peckers only got 2 from memory including a late win over North IIRC at Prospect in a game I am pretty sure I was at.

Such great memories of the SANFL from those days.

The Big Ben swap cards (was it Big Ben?) stand out in my memory too.

I was a big fan of the AMSCOL Footy Colours ice creams. I went to school in Clapham during a successful period for Sturt and you had to be quick to get one of those LOL.
