A task for Spelly!

Postby MatteeG » Mon Jun 18, 2007 12:31 am

spell-check, I have a request:

Both my teams (Glenelg and Hawthorn) had 100+ point wins this weekend. Has this happened before?

I cant remember it, but there may have been a time in the late 80's...

Good luck, and cheers!

I haven't got the dates for a lot of SANFL years before 1989 - it would have happened only before then, so the only possible occurances are (that are within one round of each other)

Round 9 1987 (23rd May)
Hawthorn 25.15 (165) vs Essendon 7.9 (51)
Round 10 1987
Glenelg 24.14 (158) vs Norwood 8.10 (58)

Round 14 1986 (28th June)
Hawthorn 26.19 (175) vs Richmond 11.9 (75)
Round 13 1986
Glenelg 29.19 (193) vs Torrens 10.10 (70)

Round 14 1977 (9th July)
Hawthorn 28.23 (191) vs Geelong 13.6 (84)
Round 14 1977
Glenelg 34.15 (219) vs North 11.6 (72)
or
Round 15 1977
Glenelg 32.15 (207) vs Woodville 11.13 (79)
(That would probably be it, I'd say)

Round 17 1971 (24th July)
Hawthorn 23.16 (154) vs Footscray 4.15 (39)
Round 18 1971
Glenelg 32.21 (213) vs Woodville 6.7 (43)

Spelly is the GURU...
My weekend came out 32 points in the plus, so does that mean a win/win???
