I'm no expert on the West Adelaide Football Club but i've also got a sneaking suspicion Greg kicked 10 a few years back as well.

If he did, that would make 2 West Coast lads doing it within a few years with Daisy Borlase kicking 10 in i think '87.

It's official. Greg Mellor did in fact kick 10 goals v Glenelg at Richmond 2 August 1995.

The amazing thing is Spelly didn't know about it, I couldn't recall it, and even the official West Adelaide statistician didn't recall it ... until he checked his records. It mustn't have had much of a fuss made of it by the media at the time as I still can't recall it!!

It was in the last round, 2nd of September 1995, when West played Glenelg at Richmond. West kicked 25.13. As I said, with all resources pulled, we can work things out.

In the game West v Woodville 1987 (at Woodville) when Dale Woodhall kicked 11, I'm pretty sure that the Woodville full-forward kicked 12 or 14, making it two players kicking 10 in the same game.

Would it have been Stephen Nicholls (?). Stuart Nicoll (?)

I remember the game pretty well, it was a total shoot-out. 23.11 to 22.14, according to the Media Guide. I think Woodhall went off with a hammy with 10 minutes to go and Woodville got up.

Yeah, it was June 13 at Woodville Oval. Nichols kicked 13, Woodhall 11.
