What do you want to know about him?

I can give you his playing details. Played 35 games, 17 goals between 1948 and 1952.
First name John, known as "Mick"
Debut: v South Adelaide, Adelaide Oval, 4th September 1948
Finale: v Glenelg, Kensington Oval, 6th September 1952.

Was a member of Norwood's 1948 & 1950 premiership teams.

Thanks AH.
He passed away in Loxton recently, aged 82.
Moved to Loxton in the 1990s after closing his men's hairdresser on The Parade.
Was a member of the local tennis and golf clubs, as well as helping out at the Loxton Historical Village.
Survived by his wife Shirley.

By all accounts he was a bit of a character - kicked the winning goal in the 48 GF.
He also claims he invented the 'checky', not Jack Oatey.
