Premiership coaches in both SANFL and AFL

Thought it would be best to post this question here.

With Alistair Clarkson now being a premiership coach in both the SANFL (Centrals) and AFL (Hawthorn), has this been done before? If so, when?

As I posted in another thread, the closest I can think of is John Nicholls who coached Carlton to a flag in 1972, then Glenelg to a Grand Final in 1977.

It's not quite there either, but Alan Killigrew took Norwood to 2nd place in 1960 and 1961, and a night premiership for St Kilda one year (1956 keeps coming to mind there).

I know that when Mike Patterson won the flag at North in 1971 it was reported that he was the first ex-Victorian to win a flag in the SANFL.

Then when Neil Balme coached Norwood to the 1982 flag, a commentator stuck the mike under Balmey's nose and asked him how it felt to be the second Victorian to coach an SANFL premiership. His answer ... "I'm Western Australian mate".
