Are we talking medals and medallists at the time of the game or what was won in retrospect... 6 of the nine medals were won after 1972.

Clearly including after the game. The stat they were quoting yesterday was six medals which had to include Ian McKay's which was won the next season.

Wow, what an event! Blokes like Gordon Schwartz and Bob Hank are, truly, from a bygone era.

Did anyone attend????

I went, along with about 130 other people, including about 8 of the actual North team, another 8 or so from the North list of the time and 6 of the West Torrens players. An absolutely awesome day. Gordon Schwartz was sensational as was Bob Hank. Also the vision of the game showed the skills of the players of the day. If you go to www.rocketrooster.com a couple of NAFC history committee members comment on the show. They seem rather pleased.
