Nobody has noticed that a thread titled "Opposition players who used to carve up your team" was started by a Woodville supporter of the 70's. Could have been any number of players, Fatty! ;)

Russell Ebert carved us and many other teams up. I also recall Rocky Roberts booting plenty for Norwood against us in the early 80's.

That half back flanker for Central was Kevin Johns, another of the white ankle strap brigade. I also recall him as being a dirty bugger.

I always imagined a an old Woodville fan may have gone for Roger Woodcock. No less than 7 bags of 5 or more in 22 games against the Peckers, and averaged 3.3 goals per game.

For me, there was a certain player named Robran who used to do quite well against Norwood, especially the 1973 1st Semi Final. If he wasn't there that day we would have won by 8 goals.

Never forget Michael Aish playing with a broken hand.

Sat in the goalsquare.

Kicked five goals.

Freak.

Always enjoyed watching Alan Stringer play.

Never stopped.

'88 grand final is a great example.
