I agree REB, but that wasn't my point. How would have those Port teams that won 3-in-a-row fared if the Bays hadn't lost so many players to the VFL - 9 out of this team, and I believe nearly a full side over the course of 85-89. You could say Port's achievment was "compromised" by the VFL/AFL influence, just as people want to say Central's have been.
