I presume the fault is having the WARRIORS on the cover instead of the PECKERS??

*EDIT just saw a previous post stating first Warriors game was in 83 so obviously my guess isn't correct.

I reakon the 1981 Norf logo also had a white V in the background... did they not?

BTW if any copies of the abovementioned video were to fall off the back of a truck, I wouldn't mind picking one up...

It's either that, or the image has been doctored to show Neil Hein actually holding a mark!

Stephen Clifford was still playing & Scott Salsibury had just started so that
might be the resason for that rating.

Duncan Fosdike famously dropped the F word to Mark Aiston live on TV after the 1984 Grand Final. Parental guidance recommended there.

Is that the same Salisbury that played for the Bays in the 87 GF.

I've got an old budget that had some bozo in the crowd wearing a Warriors helmet to their first game against Torrens. That was you wasn't it Mac??? :D

I went to that match feeling confident we could knock off the Bloods and win back to back and left a shattered man as the Bloods tore us a new one, with Davies doing the same thing the week after. Ugh!! I lived in Westies territory at the time and had no shortage of happy, drunken visitors keen to discuss the match with me GRRR.

Sorry 1980TM, I only mentoined the 87 GF, cos I was watching it recently. Dirty little sod, but to be fair IMO, thought he was the only Bay player that showed and the Roosters would have scored more than they did if not for his single handed efforts.

Did we ever get to the bottom of who owns the rights to past SANFL GF's and the 'Way it Was' Videos and whether they could be transferred to DVD?

I am tempted to write directly to the television stations. I wonder how much they would charge to grant somone a license to distribute DVD's of the games?
In between signatures .....
