Thanks Spelly.
Yeah, have seen Atkinson a few times too. Seems a pretty genuine, passionate supporter.

Callum Ferguson is definitely a roosters supporter.

Wayne Phillips, of course is a passionate Sturt supporter. The Chappell brothers, somewhat surprisingly were West Adelaide supporters.

Les Favell was an avid Norwood supporter and his great mate Neil Dansie was actually a Norwood premiership player.

She might turn up to Glenelg games but she thinks she's watching Bayern Munich ;)

I don't know the bloke but do remember watching today tonight after the 2000 grand final and they did a story on him and his childhood in Elizabeth. He definatly said that he was a 'massive' dogs supporter and was proud to be able to witness Central first premiership live.

Could be a load of bollocks but that was definatly on today tonight, could have been him just trying to catch some attention.

I caught up with the man at a gig I was involved with and he virtually ran away from me when I talked to him about coming from Elizabeth.

His comment "I was only there for a couple of years".

I get the impression Barnesey only talks about Elizabeth in a positive light when he thinks it will help him.

I coulda sworn I heard him once claim to be a Maggies fan - well before the Dogs started winning finals. Disclaimer: The memory ain't what it used to be and I could be talking out of my Khyber....

I always thought that he was a Port fan. I thought it strange that his brother John Swan sang one of Centrals many club songs, yet Jimmy was a Port supporter. Then again Swannee lived a lot longer in Elizabeth than Jimmy. Remember Jimmy Barnes went to Mansfield Park and Ethelton Primary schools, both Port supporting areas.

Onto other celebrities, world renowned cricket curator Les Burdett is an avid North Adelaide supporter.

Former Member for Adelaide Trish Worth followed the mighty Broadview Tigers and current Member Kate Ellis is our No.1 Ticket Holder
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Former Sale of the Century Host Glen Ridge was a Sturt supporter.

Towards the end of his run on Sale I was convinced the siren at Unley sounded like the fast money buzzer on Sale :D

daryl smith on 5rph a week or three ago (it was the game where norwood announced their new number 1 ticket holder) said during the preview & again through the call that he could never understand why sturt gave mal fraser the number 1 ticket when clearly he never went to any games or had any interest in sturt & when he lost an election & sir james hardy took it over was a lot better as he went to games, mingled with players etc etc
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Probably a fair comment bayman.

Their was a book released very early 80's that had a picture of Fraser in a sturt guernsey and promoting him as number 1 ticket holder.
Probably more a PR exercise for both camps than anything else.
