Anything to do with the history of the SANFL

old badges

I picked these 2 up at the Fishermans Warf Markets yesterday. I think the one on the right is from the '80's, and the one on the left '70's (cue Leaping Linder). They also had ones on the left in Sturt, Norwood and South for anyone that is interested.

Noticed in the CAN YOU HELP segment in today's Sunday Mail on page 79 that may interest some Redlegs supporters - someone wanting to "give away" Norwood and Redlegs badges "mainly from 1970's".

Surely they should go to the Norwood Football Club. They have recently started a History Committee similar to North and this memorabilia is a very important part of the club's history.

That was my thoughts too.

Perhaps the Norwood Football Club will write to the lady putting the ad in the paper.

Just to update on that one, the Chairman of the Norwood Historical Group, Michael Coligan, contacted her and she was delighted they are going to the club.
