I can tell you the first one is William "Bill" Bentley. He was headmaster at my school.
Scatch that. I just remembered the W Bentley I knew played for West Torrens, not Sturt, do it's a different player. Sorry about that.

Don't ask me how I got these names in the first place, but I have worked out who they are:
1945 Higgins South should actually be V.N Simpson. (Victor)
1955 B Richardson South should actually be Reg Richards, who also polled votes in 1957 and 1958.
1936 J Pike Glenelg should be William Pike.

More amazing stuff Legs! Well done!
Recently, I have been more careful in getting the name and initials of players, but the Advertiser pre 1950s' seem to be pretty dodgy in giving the initial because that's what was published.

There was no R Tuohy who played for Sturt, it is Howard Tuohy.
