Following the Norwood v North game last w/e:
Last time a club had the same number of goals and behinds after all 4 quarters*?
For an even higher degree of difficulty: what about all 4 of the matching scores being odd numbers*?
Cheers in anticipation.
* And not by failing to score in one or more quarters; that's cheating.

Round 12 2000
Eagles 3.2 4.5 10.9 14.14 (98)
Norwood 2.2 5.5 6.6 8.8 (56)
Woodville, 1852
I didn't go to that match, but what I do know, it was about 9-10 degrees that day.
The 2nd query, there's hasn't been any, just one that has a scoreless quarter in it.

Spelly couldn't bothered starting another thread but what about this one...
How many times have the winning team FIRST quarter score been greater then the final score of the losing team
i.e Glenelg v South this weekend.....(the past few years would be good !

).

Up to the end of last year there have been 153 such occasions.
There have been 5 over the past three seasons:
Rd 16 2005: Sturt 5.3 vs West 3.8
Rd 22 2005: Eagles 10.4 vs West 8.7
Rd 23 2005: Eagles 3.2 vs South 2.7
Rd 9 2007: Central 7.1 vs West 5.8
Rd 11 2007: Glenelg 6.9 vs West 6.6

Now if we relax the rules a little to allow what I previously called cheating, i.e. including scoreless quarters, Norwood up until half-time of the Glenelg game had 6 quarters in a row of kicking the same number of goals as behinds.
I suspect that some team, some time, has had a longer sequence than this-- but I imagine not often.
Spelly, weave yr magic.

It's a record actually. Only once has a team previously gone 5 quarters with the same goals and behinds:
Round 11 1915
Port 2.2 2.6 3.10 4.11 (35) - last quarter with 1.1
West 0.0 2.8 4.9 6.13 (49)
Jubilee
Round 12 1915
Port 4.4 5.5 8.8 10.10 (70)
North 0.0 2.8 4.9 6.13 (49)
Adelaide
