Doing a Fremantle

An easy (but interesting) one for Spelly given Freo's amazing achievement:
Which cursed team holds the record in the SANFL of the longest unbroken run of leading at 3/4 time but losing the game?

I'd be surprised if anyone can touch Freo's current record of 5. It's almost enough to make them not want to try for the first 3 quarters against Brisbane this week.

Going back over the last 5 rounds, Freo's leads haven't been trivial, either: 25 points over Geelong, 32 points over Melbourne, 18 points over the Dogs (before more modest leads in the last 2 matches). That also begs the question of the largest 3/4 time lead a losing team has had (the one you published where West had gone goalless to half-time v Sturt and were still down about 4 goals to 12 at 3/4 time, would go close). I know there was an 'honorary' one in a pre-season cup game circa 1990s that was >10 goals, but, y'know, for reals.

No club has touched that record, for sure. The only time where a club has lost after leading at three quarter time three times in a row was South in 1914:

Round, 3 quarter time; full time
Round 11: 9.6 vs North 9.5; 12.8 vs 12.9
Round 13: 8.5 vs Norwood 5.9; 8.6 vs 8.10
Round 14: 6.11 vs Torrens 7.3; 7.14 vs 10.5

The West/Sturt match in 1932 was one point shy of equalling the record set two years earlier (47 points):

Round 17 1930
Port 1.3 5.6 7.9 16.12 (108)
Norwood 7.6 11.9 14.14 15.17 (107)
