Thanks AH.
He passed away in Loxton recently, aged 82.
Moved to Loxton in the 1990s after closing his men's hairdresser on The Parade.
Was a member of the local tennis and golf clubs, as well as helping out at the Loxton Historical Village.
Survived by his wife Shirley.
By all accounts he was a bit of a character - kicked the winning goal in the 48 GF.
He also claims he invented the 'checky', not Jack Oatey.
