First of all, which teams have made a GF one year, then not played finals the following year?

Then secondly, which of those teams made the GF the next year?

North 1987 1st, 1988 7th, 1989 2nd

not surprised you didn't get that one Ian, you've probably wiped 1989 from your consciousness like I have with 1990...

I knew it, tried to erase it from my mind, but................................... wasn't sure about others though

And to cap that off they came first in 1952. Ken Farmer's coaching recording reads 4 seasons for three Grand Finals and two flags. Amazing.

That is amazing LL, why didn't he go on in 53 LL?
