Classic footage of the 1969 WAFL Grand Final between West Perth and East Perth. The commentary is what's interesting.

The commentary is 100% accurate. That knock wouldn't have hurt John Wynne in the slightest, he was milking a free. The East Perth player who hit him wasn't Mal Brown it was Don Rintoul.

Interesting Wynne wore No.14 for West Perth and then 28 for Norwood. Does this mean he was only half the player at West Perth? :)

Didn't his son Chase wear 42 at Norwood? *twilight zone music*

He was a good coach at West Perth in 1985 and '86. The Falcons finished 4th in 1985 and only just missed out on finals in 1986 but they played some inspired footy under his reign.
