Bogey Teams in Premiership Seasons

Following some comments Robranosgod made in another thread, North Adelaide were a fair Bogey side to an otherwise rampant Norwood in 1997.

IIRC the Legs lost 3 Minor Round games, 2 of which were to the Roosters (Footy Park and Norwood Oval), yet still won the Grand Final relatively comfortably (whilst Im not sure how the season ended for North).

Got me to wondering if many other Premiership teams over the years have found themselves having a Bogey team during the season?

In 1993 the Eagles didn't knock off the Bays, although they did draw one match.

Glenelg made the grand final in 1977 but lost both games to the bottom club Central.

In 1996, Central Districts beat Port 3 times during the year and also in the 2nd Semi, before the tide turned in the big one.

Obviosuly in 2002 central defeated Sturt 4 times (3 in the minor round and 1 in the 2nd semi) before the Double Blues took out the flag :(
