Mid-season Review

Postby Squawk » Tue Jun 08, 2010 11:48 am

Spelly -

at roughly the mid point of the 2010 season, could you advise

1. How many players have been selected to play at each club, for their league team this year so far?
2. What is the answer to the above question for each of the 9 clubs, for the full 2009 season?
3. In 2010 so far, which players from the 2 AFL clubs have played SANFL games for each SANFL club?; and how many games each? (Include finals qualifying games even if they didn't play because they were a travelling emergency or their SANFL team had the bye).
4. How many players has each SANFL club debuted at league level so far in 2010? (ie played their first SANFL league game, not played their first game for a new club - so Pollock for NA for example switched clubs and played his first league game for North last week, but I don't think he had played League for Norwood, whereas Boyd switched to Central and had played league for South).

Thanks! ;)

No.1 and 2
Team 2010 (2009)
Central 32 (34)
Eagles 36 (47)
Glenelg 29 (35)
North 36 (36)
Norwood 34 (42)
Port 39 (45)
South 31 (40)
Sturt 30 (34)
West 33 (46)

3) I can't answer the question fully, because I don't keep track of the players going to another Reserves team because of the bye and travelling emergencies. I've only got the League games they have played.

4)
Central 6
Eagles 4
Glenelg 6
North 6
Norwood 5
Port 8
South 10
Sturt 3
West 5

Spelly - can you possibly publish a list of the names of players at each club who have debuted in 2010? (And keep it updated as more players are added, and the total number of games played by each debutant by seasons end).

eg

Norwood - Alex Georgiou. (Debut Rd 12?). (Then, at the end of the year) - played x league games in 2010.

Did Mitch Grigg and Dan Gorringe debut for Norwood in 2009?
Angus Clarke debuted in rd 14, Alex Georgiou in around Rd 12 I think, both for Norwood.
