OK, you've heard of the 'Bucket List', so this is something similar for the historians amongst us.............

Name 5 SANFL games as follows:

2 games you were at and would love to see live all over again. (Maximum of 1 Grand Final involving your own club).
2 games you missed and would love to go back and see.
1 game that was played before you were born, that you would like to see for yourself.

WILD CARD - name any other SANFL dreamtime game you have burning in your mind, for any reason!

Name 5 SANFL moments as follows:

2 on-field moments you saw for yourself and would love to see live again
2 on-field moments you missed but wished you had seen for yourself
1 off-field moment where you wish you could have been a fly on the wall

WILD CARD - name any other SANFL dreamtime moment you have burning in your mind, for any reason!

This could be fun:
Squawk wrote:2 games you were at and would love to see live all over again. (Maximum of 1 Grand Final involving your own club).

1986 Escort Cup Glenelg defeating Sturt by a point with a Jim West goal after the siren after being 10 goals down at 3/4 time
1995 Round 1 Glenelg v Port, a 12 goal third quarter and a record thumping. And me high as a kite on space cake 8)

2 games you missed and would love to go back and see.

1982 Preliminary final
1978 Grand Final

1 game that was played before you were born, that you would like to see for yourself.

Perhaps the 1963 (?) state game where the Croweaters won in Melbourne

WILD CARD - name any other SANFL dreamtime game you have burning in your mind, for any reason!

"Black Friday" at Norwood - Glenelg kicking 1.4. If Glenelg ever wins a bloody flag again, I shall hunt down a copy of Black Friday and watch it again, just to remember how bloody bad Glenelg could be and how much rubbish I'd suffered through watching.

2 on-field moments you saw for yourself and would love to see live again

Hall - Maynard - Symonds - GOAL, 1986 GF
no idea for the second

2 on-field moments you missed but wished you had seen for yourself

Granger snotting Cornesy (and half the Glenelg team), 1982 Prelim
Cornesey's mark and goal, 1973 GF

1 off-field moment where you wish you could have been a fly on the wall

A fly on the wall of the Glenelg boardroom when they decided to axe Peter Simmons

WILD CARD - name any other SANFL dreamtime moment you have burning in your mind, for any reason!

no idea, I reserve the right to edit this post tomorrow morning :)

1a. 1984 Grand Final
1b. 1982 2nd Semi Norwood v Port

2a. 1975 Grand Final
2b. 1978 Grand Final

3. 1963 State Game

1990 Grand Final - Just thought it was a game that pretty much had it all

Squawk wrote:Name 5 SANFL moments as follows:

1a. 1988 Norwood v Central pre-match all-in (a few blokes not messing around there)
1b. Keith Thomas mark in the 1984 Grand Final

2a. Carmen feeding Cornes a face-full of mud, and characters were common in the game (and it seems most players got "rubbished" as opposed to spitefully abused)
2b. John Wynne in the coaches box of 1978 Grand Final

3. Probably any of the Magpies board meetings in 1990

"That" loss to the Dogs a few years back - Felt like we weren't too far off them for 20 minutes, and at 3/4 time I felt like we should only be about 10 goals down, but before you knew it it was a 26 goal deficit at the end and they just scored from anywhere, the most dominant performance Ive ever seen (granted our opposition was ordinary)

2 games you were at and would love to see live all over again. (Maximum of 1 Grand Final involving your own club).
1986 1st semi - Woodville v Port
1986 Woodvile v Port. After so many Eagles games with 2-3000, would be great to be a part of 11k crowd there again, plus an exciting game

2 games you missed and would love to go back and see.
1984 GF
1999 GF

1 game that was played before you were born, that you would like to see for yourself.
76 GF and Glenelg's 49 goals

WILD CARD - name any other SANFL dreamtime game you have burning in your mind, for any reason!
1974 GF, believe it was wet and windy, and the Bays had the Blues on toast at 3/4 time, so for the Blues to pull out a win must have been exhilirating, gutsy stuff.
Also - 1976 prelim final

Name 5 SANFL moments as follows:

2 on-field moments you saw for yourself and would love to see live again
Tony Hall checkside goal in 1992 State game (representing the SANFL!!)
Ciccas bounces and goal from 50 in first 1/4 of 2006 GF - set the tone for the day.

2 on-field moments you missed but wished you had seen for yourself
Michael Aish run, and then Keith Thomas run and goal late in 1984 GF
Dave Granger incidents in 82 PF

1 off-field moment where you wish you could have been a fly on the wall
Not sure if this is "off-field" but what was said and the looks when Blight made the Warriors train at 3/4 time.
Perhaps another - the fight under the Adelaide Oval at half time in a Port v West GF in the late 50's (1958?), and how Westies reacted to it in the change rooms.

WILD CARD - name any other SANFL dreamtime moment you have burning in your mind, for any reason![/quote]
1994 GF - The couple of frees, and at least one 25m penalty, Scott Hodges drew from Sean Hannam late in the first 1/4 that lead to two goals when we were 6 goals to nil.

Last years 2nd Semi 'nuff said.

2 on-field moments you saw for yourself and would love to see live again

2 on-field moments you missed but wished you had seen for yourself

Cornesy's mark and goal, 1973 GF
Any of George Johnstons memorable moments in the 1934 GF
