Recently acquired game ball from the 1974 SA v WA State Game 1st at Footy Park signed by captains Barrie Robran and Graham Melrose (Robran's last state game prior to horrific Matthew's injury)

NAFC 1919 Membership Badge (1st NAFC Members' Badge)
NAFC 1920 Membership Badge (1st NAFC Members' Premiers Badge)

Original framed photo of Ken Farmer kicking 1000th goal 7th May 1938 at Prospect Oval

- 2000 Central District Premiers T-Shirt signed by all players (including Danny Hulm - RIP) and coach Peter Jonas

- Poms to Premiers book - 50 year history of CDFC

- Various other Central District books - Almanacs, Bulldogs by the Numbers

- Framed 2007 Central District training gurnsey signed by every player that played league football that year, organised by Paul Thomas.

- Signed and framed photograph of myself and Paul Thomas in the Central rooms after the 2009 Grand Final

- Various player badges from the late 80's and early 90's including Jamie Thomas, Rudi Mandemaker, Robert 'Chopper' Handley

- A scrap book full of newspaper clippings and Footy Budget pictures on articles on anything Central District from about 1990 up until 2000 (some pictures signed)

- A copy of the Football Budget that I had my first written article published in

- My first Messenger article I had written and had published on an SANFL game in a frame (my wifre organised as a gift for me)

this should only be in the treasured thread, certainly no value in this crap. except your published article of course, would fetch millions at auction

More sentimental than anything, but earlier this year termites got into my collection of footy budgets and footy times, lot's of editions from the 80's and some back to the 70's and even 60's GF's. Had to get rid of about half of them :cry: :cry:

You sound like you've got yourself the makings of a museum there LL.

I have some great budgets from the 60s and 70s but most treasured is a 1961 (Premiership year) membership badge, unenamelled, extremely rare and retrieved from the archives of the badge manufacturer.

My recollection was that Melbourne's Robert Flower and Brian Wilson whinged to
the VFL (for the same reason).

My recollection was that Melbourne's Robert Flower and Brian Wilson whinged to
the VFL (for the same reason).


It took footy adminstrators some time to make this decision. I recall Sturt's Kym Stoeckel back in 1966 having his career ended after having a finger caught up in a lace up.

Various Premiership items all signed by each premiership team from CDFC.

Inaugural Gold Coast Suns limited edition signed number 3 of 100 Home Guernseys. Boxed with certificate of Authenticity.
Inaugural membership stickers, scarfs, hats for the Gold Coast Suns. May not be of any real value now but in time they certainly should be.
