For the three matches played so far there has been 126.79 (835) scored. Tomorrows' match needs to have an aggregate of 218 points to be the highest ever scoring round for the 9 team competition (from 1991 onwards). Round 25 in 1995 had 163.74 (1052).

For this round to be the Round 20 highest average, 272 points needs to be scored - an average of 139 points, which beats 1983s' Round 20 when 206.147 (1383) was scored (138.3 avg.) 1982 was the next highest with 195.145 (1315) (131.5 avg)

17.11 (113) is Wests' highest score this year.
26.13 (169) is Ports' highest score this year.

22.10 (142) is the 2nd highest ever losing score at Glenelg - 21.17 (143) by Glenelg in Round 6 1974 against Norwood is the highest.
That score is the 3rd highest losing score by Glenelg.
It is the highest ever losing score against North by any team - previous was 21.11 (137) by Torrens in Round 4 1976 at Prospect.
It is the 20th occasion a losing score has been over 140 points (equal 16th overall)
It is the highest losing score since Round 10 1987 when West lost to Woodville 22.14 (146) to 23.11 (149) at Woodville.

29.12 (186) is Souths' highest score this year.
Sturt just missed out on becoming the first team ever to lose by 100 points or more 4 weeks in a row - last week they lost by 98 points.
It is the highest score by South since Round 2 1995 - 30.15 (195) also against Sturt.

Is Sturt's last 4 matches the worst in regard to losing average and aggregate?

I guess for Ecky not as much satisfaction out of the loss against North, but still it's always nice to see records broken (as long as we win tomorrow)

Do you hold half time records Spelly?

If so, where does the Port v West halftime score sit in the scheme of other Port v West games.

17.5 v 12.3 is a very high half time score.

They both should have gone on with the job and kick a phenomenal score - Port 200+ and West 120+... 8) :)

Never mind, anyway, it was the 23rd highest scoring half ever, and the 8th highest 1st half total ever.

It was the highest scoring half ever between the two teams, previously was 25.12 (162) - West 11.5 Port 14.7, 1st half, Round 10 1975 at Richmond.

17.5 is a record first half score by Port against West.

Bloody South ruined a chance to kick 200 points I see...

26.9 at 3 quarter time and then just 3.3 in the last.

26.9 (165) is the 2nd highest 3 quarter time score by South against Sturt - 27.6 (168) was scored in Round 2 1995 by South.

It is the highest ever 3 quarter time score against Sturt at Unley - previously it was 21.14 (140), twice by Norwood, Round 11 1950 and North Round 2 1951.

Souths' previous best 3 quarter time score at Unley was 19.19 (133) which was actually against West Adelaide, Round 16 1935. Against Sturt it was 17.10 (112), Round 8 1984.

The full time score of 29.12 (186) is the 2nd highest ever score against Sturt at Unley, the record is 31. 7 (193), by Eagles in Round 16 of this year.

IThe previous record by South at Unley was 24.26 (170), in the above match against West Adelaide in 1935 and against Sturt was 24.15 (159) in the above match in 1984.

Another equal record I missed, was that Port equalled their 2nd quarter record against West - they also kicked 10.4 (64) in Round 3 1936 at Alberton
