Anyone have an opinion on which side of the 5 they thought was the best. I believe my old man thinks the 69 side was the best iirc, but not 100% sure.

1968. 2 losses, both to Port by 19 points but beat them in 2nd semi & GF.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

I'd go for 1966. The only team that had ME Jones and John Halbert at FF and CHF. Clarkson was playing the best footy of his career, and Rick Schoff was All-Australian (although he missed the GF through injury). Plus a 56 point belting of a team who had won 9 flags in the previous 12 SANFL seasons was a wonderful effort.

The amazing thing some people don't realise with the Sturt 5-in-a-row, is they only won 2 minor premierships in that time. North Adelaide was MP in 1967, Glenelg 1969, and Port Adelaide 1970.
