26 (1977)
27 (1978,79,80,81) He went to South (IIRC) in 1982 no idea what happened to him after that.

Hmmm, detailed answer there. Must have a good reference.

I reckon he might have played for SMOSH in 1993.

Think you might be right mate .. It was pre-almagamation with West Lakes so I can't be certain, but I'm pretty sure I'd heard that mentioned.

Big Wayne and I played junior footy and cricket together.
He played junior footy at Ferryden Park and I was opposed to him.
He was a tall gangly uncordinated kid who could take a mark.
We played school footy + cricket together for 5 years[we both did matric !]
We had a stint at Semaphore Park juniors for a season as well.
Wayne dominated junior footy and fed me most of the time.
We were both talented Pinball players as we hung out at delis , fish shops,
bowling alleys and snooker halls.
Wayne was a handy allrounder on the cricket field, but not as good as me !
Woodville found out about 3 outstanding juniors at Woodville High School
being Wayne , Byron Hearne and myself, but obviouisly due to salary cap restrictions
I was not invited out at Woodville[the club never recovered and had to amalgamate]
The rest is history.
He was invited to train with Carlton from memory.
He played with distinction at Woodville and South.
He was in the fire brigade for many years.
These days I occasionally spot him at the races.

Wayne if your reading this, remember this B+E

Too long ago to remember
a lad called Paul Dutch and another lad called Ginever
played there as well ? and another called Ian Bradmore?
It was a good PA breeding area in the 70's.
