Terry Moore, Phil Maylin and of course David Young all make an appearance so it sort of counts.

So does Russell Johnston.

He has a shot for goal and kicks out on the full. Is this why Collingwood sacked him and allowed him to be a Port premiership captain.

I love the scene where Goss kicks a goal on the siren at Princes Park, and the crowd runs onto the ground at Victoria Park. :)

He played Tony Harper and was seen either on the bench or being touted as a possible trade off. :)

He was only worth 5 Grand - hardly worth the effort!

He started life in VFL at South before Collingwood (IIRC)

I used to work with David (before and after his VFL career) and knew him very well. He had a choice of playing for Hawthorn or South Melbourne, and he chose South. Upon his return he told me if he had his time over again he would have played for Hawthorn because they didn't makke injured players play with injections like South did. He was quite bitter towards South, but appeared to enjoy his stay with Collingwood more. It was a football tragedy to compare the David Young pre-VFL to the post-VFL model.

That movie is a glaring example that drugs have existed within footy clubs for a long time. Even though their are certain football identities that appear shocked and totally suprised at when has been reported at WCE. "It would never have happened in my day".

Sounds like a lot of cases - one being Garry Hocking who apparently needs needles just to be able to get around.
Any player who has them and thinks that they're not doing long term damage is kidding themselves. The players of today will be far more "crippled" with injury in later life than the players of previous generations.
