Now who was saying crowds will go backwards this year? Never got back to me regarding the $50- either? or did you?...on or off?

That's right, but wait until the rain starts to affect. Re instalment of the Mini League has helped.

Must admit even though Im not for it, it is a way of boosting the crowd numbers by 100 odd each game not that any of those 100 would pay mind you.

Answer the question Spelly!!!

I believe while not perfect the prgramming this year is much better and this will show with better crowds, obviously can help the weather but given luck I think we are looking at a great year...

A month ago I would have taken the bet, Dutchy, but I'm feeling more optimistic about the crowds this year now.

 Port and Sturt look like improving, and South doing poorly is a good sign for crowd numbers.
 The Neil Kerley ads are a million times better than the Tim Shaw ones
 Criticism of many aspects of the AFL seem to be as high as ever, highlighted by the poor Showdown attendance.
 We may have another dry winter

So my market would now be something like
$1.80 higher attendance
$1.80 lower attendance

I almost never bet on anything, but if they were betting on crowd increase/decrease, I'd put $50 on decrease straight away.

I offered...you wimped

I knew you would find a post I made. "They" means bookmakers - Thornton, not Dutchy.

Where does the 3,689 @ Unley on Sunday rank since Sturt returned there?

Yes.

Ecky has also made a good point - I made this post about two/three months ago, not at the end of the f***ing first round.

But the bet was offered 2-3 months ago, you said you would get back to me, but didnt....

You said you wanted to put $50- on straight away, as Thornton wont offer this service I was simply prepared to take the bet for you..............anyway its no dramas I respect the fact you dont bet...play on
