Glenelg vs West
34 free kicks to Glenelg is an equal club record - equal to Round 10 1994 against Norwood and the equal 5th highest overall.
123 kicks to West is a club lowest record - previous was 124 against Port, Round 11 2004 and the equal 7th lowest overall.
Glenelg had 11 more scoring shots, but lost - which places that equal 11th in that category.

86.96% accuracy with that score places it 7th most accurate ever.
Port had 11 more scoring shots, but lost - which places that equal 11th in that category.

South vs Norwood
59 frees for the match is the 9th highest overall.

The 8,780 for the 3 matches on the weekend brings the total to 40,858 for the season.
This is the totals for the same rounds from 2000:

Great signs for the SANFL with the crowd nos ... what's the best guess for Wednesday's game?

Although I forgot to add the line below it. A big coincedence for that to happen twice in one round.

5,000 something. Watch the crowds fall this week; if the forecast is correct.

Top work Spelly .... as always.

I assume you took the Advertiser Crowd for Glenelg v West (2198) as oppossed to the Sunday Mail one (2542).

Eagles v Central at Thebarton deserves a massive crowd
in recent years Anzac Day game has been around 5-7K but that's before the Eagles started to even up the rivalry with a GF win.

Would be great to see 8,000 there at the Pug Hole.

estimated/expected crowd is 5000 - 5500 for Anzac day.

Hopefully will be more - I'd love to see a massive crowd at Thebby again
Ground record is around 22,000 i think .

Any thing over 6000 would be very good.

From what I read, West Torrens was the 2nd most supported team behind Port pre 1960.
Pity that dropped off come 1980 onwards.

After 3 rounds crowd total up approx 22% on last year - hopefully with Anzac day this round will also be a good one and keep the crowd tally up.

Maybe so spelly, I guess WT may have had an ageing supporter base, but I think they still got good crowds until around 1975ish when knuckles took over.

it's a pity, you look at their champ players in the 50's and it really is a pity it died off so fast.

Good crowds. Perhaps this is why the Showdown failed to sell out.

Get down to the SANFL and see some decent footy for a fraction of the price.
