The Adelaide Cup Day match was in 2000. And Troy has it spot on - there were huge (for post 1990) crowds at Port matches in that year because of that.

It was also a match up of the 1995 GF opponents and preview to the 1996 GF as well.

Ah yes, the start of the era when we actually rated ourselves a chance to win out there.
