My case: Grandfather West Torrens, me Glenelg

Pop played for Glenelg. I support Sturt.

My Granddad played reserves for Sturt in the 1930's, he lived in Maud St at the time.

My Grandd dad was a mail medalist in the country but my Dad (who was a Norwood supporter) played for Torrens.
My son's looking good in his first year, I still have no idea why every bit of football talent in the family jumped me.
Mind you Im the only person in the entire family ever to be taller than 6 foot so I cant complain, I must take after the milkman.

not really my grandfather but gamps' brother played for Norwood I have no idea when though or how many games. I have checked the list and Spelly has included uncle lofty so its not bullshite.

in my family all my grand fathers brothers played for St. Albains in the Geelong League and my Grand Father played for East Geelong then my dad well he played for Geelong West Cricket and Football.

I don't qualify, but I think my grandfather still holds the league record for service, certainly Westies record - 54 years as timekeeper.

He, my brother and I are all Life Members of the Club.

Not Grandfather (mum's dad) but GF's first cousin (Roy A. LeMessurier) played for Port Luckily he saw the light and moved to North. His brother Fred also played at North.
My dad played Colts at the Bay!!!!

Both my grandfathers were Poms and so didn't get to play real football. My father played [wing] for Moonta [red & blue] and I follow Norwood because he brainwashed my older sister and she took me to Norwood matches - she was a big John Marriott fan.

My sister also later married a man who had played for Port in his youth and been a long-term member, but he had to quit Port and join the NFC before she agreed - I guess she saved his soul!

My great grandfather played for Glenelg & one of my grandfathers played for Port, think he played 200+ reserves games.
